A quick update from Cairns with more to come! Done and dusted, your 2017 World Championships have been decided in the jungle of far North Queensland. The day started off early with the junior classes as always, with Melanie Chappaz from France the fastest female. In the junior men Matt Walker from Great Britain goes home with a set of the rainbow stripes – hot favourite Finn Iles had some issues in his run and finished 10th. The Aussies had various results with Ben Zwar highest placed in 6th.

In the elite the Hannah household came home with a few new medals, unfortunately not Gold, it was Silver for Mick and Bronze for Tracey. The wins went to Loic Bruni and Miranda Miller!

It was not to be for Tracey Hannah today, a crash near the top relegated her to 3rd.
