South Australian State Series – Race 5 – Fox Fast

It was great to see Troy Brosnan back racing! No surprise he took the win by over 5 seconds, how he stayed so clean at the muddiest race of the series is beyond us though…

Downhill is an outdoor sport and we are at the mercy of Mother Nature, the South Australian State race at Fox Fast was a perfect example of this. It was wet, really wet! Ask the racers though and they will tell you it was still a blast to race.

South Australian State Series – Race 4 – Eagle

The South Australian State Series returned back to Eagle Mountain Bike Park, the site of the 2012 Australian National Championships. This was our favourite image from the weekend, we don't know why but it instantly reminds us of World Cups! Maybe it is the speed blur, the riders position or their appearance whatever the case we love it! The rider is local fast man Brad McDonnell, hash tag: sofactory!

Round four of the South Australian State Series saw riders take onA�the revisedA�track at Eagle Mountain Bike Park. The track hadA�seen some revisions since the last time it was raced on.

South Australian State Series – Round 1 – Mount Torrens

The first race of the 2012 South Australian series kicked off with just under 200 riders racing.

The 2012 South Australian downhill series kicked off at Mount Torrens, approximately 45 minutes from the city and held on private property, Torrens has been a venue used in the state series for some time now. The track has slowly evolved over time, this year the track received a new wooden berm just before the infamous ‘jetty jump’ and a few other tweaks higher up the course.

Mount Torrens Race Report 6th & 7th August 2011

Round 5 of the South Australian State Series was another wet race, this time on private property at Mount Torrens. A few changes to the track kept riders on their toes but it was mainly the weather that would slow competitors down. Mount Torrens generally suits riders who are good pedallers, this year was no different, the wet and boggy track meaning those with power would be at an advantage.
