World Cup number 3 is upon us, Fort William has been a regular on the World CupAcalendar for years now. While the track hasn’t had dramatic changes it will still require riders to be on their toes. The biggest changes are found at the bottom of the track where riders (after surviving the top part of the track) will have to negotiate some big moto style jumps as they head into the finish.
No doubt you haveAnoticed Sam Hill is running a pink bike/kit again, this is all in aid of supporting breast cancer with the bike being auctioned off after the race and proceeds being donated to charity. It’s not only Sam getting on board to support good causes though. This weekend Danny HartAis riding aAspecially painted Glory that is dedicated to fallen soldiers from the war in Afghanistan.
SomeAnews from practice; Dan Atherton is back from enduro dh toArace this weekend, Stevie Smith is riding despiteAthe issue with his hand, rumour has itAhe is refusing to have it x-rayed so he can’t be told not to ride, Aaron Gwin only did a few runs on the track and already appears right up to speed.
Timed practice revealed the Brits were going for it, Danny Hart again topping the list along with Marc Beaumont and Gee Atherton not too far behind in second and fourth respectively.
