East Coast Titles 2014 - Greenvalleys Bike Park -

November 15 & 16 saw the first edition of the East Coast Titles mountain bike event, hosted by Wollongong MTB club. Favourable weather, with a little wind for challenge in the open jump sections had riders at their best, race hardening new sections and punishing old ones for the title.

A field of 80 riders had shuttle lines running smoothly, and the organisers on their toes – a great turnout for the maiden event with Giant Australia rider Thomas Crimmins in contention for the elite men’s title.

T Crimmins looked as natural as ever despite being on a brand new bike – commenting that the geometry has changed to his liking, and this year he has moved to a smaller frame size on 650B wheel size.

Giant may not reinvent the wheel each time but there’s a new level of refinement in the design aesthetically (and functionally) this year!
