Matti Lehikoinen Seriously Injured!

One of the best riders in the world but unfortunately one of the unluckiest as well!

News has come to hand that Matti Lehikoinen has had a serious crash at a downhill race in Norway. Initial reports suggest he has been cleared of brain damage but will require surgery for facial injuries. Matti is genuinely one of the nicest riders on the circuit but since finishing second overall in the 2007 World Cup series, he has been plagued by injuries that have hidden his true talent on a bike. More news as we get it, all the best Matti!

Inside Info: Henry Blake (& his Zerode G-1)

Henry Blake is another one of Australia's fast up and coming junior riders.

Henry has just signed with Clint White Racing and will be attending a lot of races across Australia and New Zealand in the up coming months. We have a chat with him about racing, riding and his new bike.

Zerode, a New Zealand company, has certainly raised a few eyebrows with their gearbox style bike.

After getting so much positiveA�feedback from our last Inside Info (http://www.downhill247.com/?p=620)A�on Ancillotti bikes, we thought we would show you guys another shot of the DHY (the bike Rhys Willemse rode at the Champery World Championships). Company owner Tomaso was kind enough to send us this pictureA�taken only days ago! Using the same pull shock system as found on all their bikes, the frame has been refined over the years, based on feedback from various riders who have ridden the bike.
