Have a read of how Connor described his week at Val di Sole including what happened during his race run;
After round one in South Africa we had a two month break to go home and relax. I wouldnat get this opportunity through the rest of the season, so I trained pretty hard at home. The next trip would be almost 4 months long with 6 World cups. The first was Val Di Sole which I was looking forward to. I had my best result of 2011 there and I really liked the track…
Wow! Insert whatever witty/lame pun about Gwin and winning you like here, 7.85 seconds says enough! Photo: Jacob Gibbins

Connor Fearon had the skills to take the victory at Fox Bowl in his last race before he heads overseas.
Race 2 of the South Australian State Series was held at Fox Creek, on the legendary Bowl track, in awesome conditions for racing! The track had a visit from the ‘trail pixies’ just a week prior to the race. The main changes were extending the triple, altering the corner after it and adding a nice swooping berm as you turn onto the track.
