Lenzerheide – World Championships

Forget all the hype, all the hyperbole, worlds is the race of the year! In case you need some extra downhill goodness in your day here are some great images from @kif_cat to remind you who won the 29th edition of the World Championships.

There was rain early on in the week, but it didn’t dampen the mood #dadjoke
There were some great kits and custom bikes on show, it really is a special part of the event for spectators and riders alike!
We knew what to expect from the track having been here in the past, there were some changes but nothing too drastic!
Always good to see the Aussie jersey across the classes.
Styles for miles…
Kade Edwards won the biggest race of his career in Junior Mens. While in Junior Women Val Holl finished with a ‘perfect’ season, winning all world cups and taking gold at champs.
Kye A’Hern snagged the silver.

Rachel Atherton capped off another successful year with a 10 second win.
All or nothing…
The big race specialist?
Loic Bruini with his 3rd senior win!
Martin Maes confirming he is a threat, anywhere, anytime and on any bike! Second place…

Next year sees us return to the legendary Mont Sainte Anne, no doubt another race for the ages!
