Round 2 Nationals – Thredbo

Back to the home of downhill in Australia

We hit up one of the all time classic Australian race venues, Thredbo, for round two of the National Series. Even without the racing, a combination of blue skies and endless chairlift runs meant that riders were smiling all weekend long.

Our man on the scene RF Photographics gives us a run down of the weekend, a few points to note;

– Caroline Buchanan was on hand to add some spice to the women’s race, which was looking to be a tight race between Tegan Molloy and Danielle Beecroft as it was.

– Troy Brosnan was on his new Canyon, just like round 1, to get some practice on his new bike.

– The junior men’s race was up in the air with any number of rider capable of winning!

In Practice Jake Newell is one that stood out the most to me, flying and getting wild everywhere.
