Val d’Isere has provided us with what has to beA�the race of the season so far! With the start order being so different from the rest of the races this year, the last 30 riders down the hill just kept swapping positions, as a different rider would come down and take over the hot seat.

Practice – WC#6 – Val d’Isere

Practice for the top 80 riders was a much more relaxed affair then yesterdays’ qualifying session. Despite morning rain practice was held in sunny conditions, there was still some moisture on the track but nothing too major.A�It will be interesting to see what the weather decides to do for racing, the high mountain location means conditions can change instantly.

Inside Info: Trailmix-Procon Racing

The Trailmix-Procon racing team burst onto the 2011/12 National Series and showed you don't have to be a factory bike company team to do well at the races.

Downhill is an individual sport but one where a team still plays a huge part in your success. Not saying good riders wona��t do well without a good team but if they had to take care of; the logistics of getting to the race, their schedule for the weekend, work on their bike and all the other facets a team looks after, it is going to be a whole lot more challenging to get the desired result.
